Bryan and Joe have co-founded a new fitness concept with a unique name. One that often turns heads and begs the question, “where did that name come from?”
Empathizing with societies age-old propensity to put off fitness, Eat The Frog Fitness (ETF Fitness) was inspired by Mark Twain’s famous quote: “Eat a live frog first thing every morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.” As Clay has said, for many people, that ‘frog’ is fitness.
Eat The Frog is not just a generic quote that fit well or was a fun name, it was a mantra that Clay lived by – keeping him motivated throughout his 3 visits to the Olympics. He thinks of it as a winner’s mindset that keeps you focused on tackling life’s challenges.
Eat The Frog Fitness is a hybrid between personal training and the more traditional studio style group classes. Being highly focused on results-based training they found that a personal trainer (our coaches) were vital to helping members perform the exercises correctly and the group environment was highly motivating and fun – all leading to greater results.
And thus, combining their lifelong passion for fitness and community, these industry professionals are paving the way with cutting edge, personalized group training through Eat The Frog Fitness.
