We are pleased to welcome a new Franchisee, Michelle Alexander, to the #FrogSquad.

Michelle is originally from Salinas, CA, and landed in Arizona 8 years ago. She is a mother of two and previously owned her own business with a partner. She learned of Eat The Frog Fitness from her neighbor, who suggested Eat The Frog Fitness when Michelle was discussing getting a second job working for a gym because she loved the environment.

Even though her friends and family had encouraged her to become a personal trainer after competing in several fitness competitions, she never saw personal training as an end goal. Fitness competitions were just a personal goal she has set for herself – there was no pressure to win.

She thought working in a sales position might be an excellent fit for her at a local gym or studio. After the encounter with her neighbor, she started to research Eat The Frog Fitness more. She realized that she could open up her own studio. After all, she was interested in fitness and had owned her own business in the past. She decided to pursue becoming a franchisee. Michelle said that she never let fear or doubts stop her. Voices saying "you can't, you won't, you aren't enough" were drowned out by her determination. She told herself, "You can. End of story".

Since this was her first business venture without a partner, she knew that the franchise model was a good fit, offering her support where she needed it. She knew that she could take her love of fitness and helping people and translate that into doing something she was passionate about - helping other women. She said, "if I can take my passion for fitness and help even ONE person achieve their goals... like telling my own life story, if I could help even one woman be able to overcome a toxic situation, then I had to do it. That is the mark I want to leave on my community".

As a faithful person, she prayed to see if this was the right fit for her, ultimately saying, "so here I am... with a signed Franchise agreement, lease space being negotiated, a loan closing soon, and on my way to opening my first studio!"

We could not be more pleased to welcome Michelle to Eat The Frog Fitness as one of our newest franchise owners. She is set to open her studio in the next couple of months in Chandler, AZ. We can't wait to support her on her journey as she is bound to positively impact her community and members' lives.
