“I think this is the next big thing. I’ve vetted all the competitors, and this was by far the best one... and the one I’m excited to be a part of—a place where you’re adding value to people’s lives.

“Eat the Frog is definitely the future. The technology that we incorporate into fitness is the future. And that’s what excites me. Fitness is always going to be a big part of people’s lives, but it is finicky. Things have changed even in the two years that I’ve had here thanks to our technological capabilities.

“There’s obviously a lot of competition in the fitness world right now, and there’s three things that I think separate Eat the Frog from what else is out there.

“First is the personalization. The ability to have personal training in a small group setting. So you get the benefits of personal training—the attentiveness and the form correction, the planning, the customization of the training—while being in a fun, motivating environment.

“Second is the accessibility. You can get in at any time of the day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. So now, when everyone’s schedule is crazy, the ability to come in any time of the day and get a session in is something that really separates it.

“Third and probably most important is community. We have a really tight-knit group of members here. We do charity events together; we do adventure races together. That’s a focus of what Eat the Frog does.

“This opens itself up to certain types of people. You have to be passionate about helping other people. You have to be passionate about caring for people and helping them with a personal decision to get into fitness.

You have to be hardworking. It is very rewarding, but whether you’re an operator overseeing a studio, it does take commitment and hard work. You do get well rewarded, but you’ve got be hard working and have a can’t-lose attitude.

“And you have to be a little bit of a risk-taker. But if you do it right, listen to corporate, and listen to other franchisees, we have the infrastructure to set you up for success, and we’re ready to truly launch this brand into the next big thing.

“When you get that member that comes up to you and says, Hey thank you. You helped me with this. You helped me look better in my wedding dress. Or in some cases I’ve had people come up to me and say, I think you might have saved my life… That’s what it’s all about.

“That is the brand. It starts at the top with corporate. We’re all about fitness, but we’re also all about community and making sure that people are welcomed. We’ve got a great community of franchisees and regional developers who are here to support you. We’ve all been through it.
